Why We’re Doing This

We are building this community because something essential has been lost—and we are ready to remember.

We live in a world that has separated us from the land, from each other, from our own children, and from the rhythms of life that once guided us. We are told that success means independence, but we are not meant to do life alone. We believe real wealth is found in shared meals, meaningful work, healthy soil, open arms, and a circle that holds each of us in love and purpose.

We’re doing this because…

• We want to raise our children in a village, not in isolation.

• We want our elders to age in honor, not in loneliness.

• We want to grow our food with our hands, drink water we can trust, and live close to the Earth.

• We want our work to nourish—not exhaust—us.

• We want to trade fairly, live ethically, and share what we have.

• We want to be free—truly free—not just as individuals, but as a people.

We’re not waiting for systems to change.

We’re not waiting for someone else to fix it.

We are the ones stepping up—with courage, with vision, and with care.

This isn’t about escaping the world.

It’s about healing it—starting right here.

In choosing to live together, grow together, and care for one another,

we are reclaiming what it means to be human.

This is our return to what is real.

This is our offering to the future.

Where This All Began

The LtoL Movement was birthed from the soul-heart of ~TheLoveActivist, a mother, visionary, and sacred vessel of transformation.

With a calling to restore community, connection, and care, she began dreaming of a world where families are supported, children grow free, and the Earth is honored as a living relative.

As a mother of five walking this path mostly solo, she understands the beauty and the burden of doing the impossible with grace. She is not here to lead from above—but to walk beside you, soul-to-soul, as we build villages rooted in love, liberty, and land.

She is a quiet force.

A living prayer.

A mirror to your own purpose.

And she welcomes you home.
